General Information and
The 2009-2010 Winter Hockey League Season will begin Friday, September 25, 2009 and will run over a 30-week period. The hockey season will consist of a weekly practice and game. Below is a list of frequently asked questions that will help you know what to expect this season.
When does the season begin and how long does it run?
The Youth RHL Hockey Season will begin the week of Friday, September 25, 2009 and finish up late March 2010.
Are there playoffs?
There will be a round robin playoff between all RHL teams. Playoffs are in March 2010
What days do we play?
Mites will practice Wednesday evenings and play home games Saturday’s at 3:00 pm.
Squirts will practice Friday evenings and play home games Sundays at 10:15 am.
Peewees will practice Friday evenings and play home games Sundays at 11:30 am.
HS JV Prep will practice Friday evenings and play home games Saturday’s at 6:30 pm.

Will we play games against other area teams?
Yes!! Again this season we will be playing games against 4 other rinks/facilities from the metroplex area.
How are teams selected?
The information you provide on the registration form allows the Hockey Director to assign a mixture of players with different skill levels to achieve a competitive balance between teams.
Are you accepting team applications?
Normally we do not accept teams, however “ICE at The Parks” will consider a team entry providing it is competitively balanced with the other team(s) in the RHL.
How do I Register with USA HOCKEY?
Go to www.usahockeyregistration.com, click “Ice Players & Coaches” and complete the steps. Once you complete the registration process, please print two copies of your receipt. Give one copy to the Hockey Director and keep the other copy for your records.
What age group can I play in?
Players will play in the 2009-2010 USA Hockey Age Classification
Note: If a player(s) has not played in a League before please speak to the Hockey Director at registration.
When will players be notified of their respective team assignment?
All players will be notified by email and/or phone call of their team assignment.
